The Dhirpura police have arrested three accused in the gang-rape of a woman in Jujharpur on Tuesday. The accused entered the house after finding the woman alone. But questions are also being asked of the police regarding the incident. The police had registered a case of molestation. On the order of the court, the police have registered a case of rape. The incident took place on the evening of September 16 in Jujharpur village.
The woman was alone in her home. Then three accused of the village, Parshuram Kushwaha, Chhotalal Kushwaha and Manoj Joshi, entered the house after finding the woman alone. All three took turns raping the woman. After the incident, the accused fled the scene. On the complaint of the woman, the police had registered a case of molestation. Later, the woman asked questions about the police’s actions and changed her statement in court.
After the court order, the police registered a case against the three accused under rape section. Police have arrested all the three accused from Sevdha Road petrol pump. Superintendent of Police Shashank Shukla said that all three accused have been arrested and sent to jail.
