A 35-year-old driver from Morbi was killed when his eco-car caught fire after it collided with a bawd tree at Kanipur village in Dahegam. Dahegam police have registered a case of accidental death after the car of a young man, who was on his way to Dhamij to get a puncture in the car, collided with a bawd tree near a school in Kanipur village.
Rudabhai Faglia (Shepherd), a native of Vachakpara Tankara in Morbi, last date. On 18th January, family brother Mukesh Dhanabhai Bharwad, his wife Maliben, Wajiben Hemantbhai, nephew Bhalabhai Panchabhai, who lives in Magiben Batukbhai village, came to Kanipur by renting an eco car and stayed at the house of uncle’s son Navghanbhai.
Yesterday, on the evening of January 20, Nodhabhai called and inquired about the whereabouts of his nephew Bhalabhai. In reply, Bhalabhai said that he was in the village and that he was going to Dhamij to get the tire punctured. At around 8 pm, Bhalabhai drove his car carelessly and collided with an eco-car near a school in Kanipur village.
The car suddenly caught fire shortly after the accident. Bhalabhai also made many efforts to get out of it. However, in the ensuing fire, Bhalabhai was engulfed in flames. Upon learning of the incident, the fire brigade rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire. But Bhalabhai was burnt in the fire. Dahegam police has registered a case of accidental death and is conducting further investigation in this regard.
