Deputy Director Gwadar Development Authority Abdul Rahim Baloch has said that a dead blue whale was found on the beach in Jiwani area.
He said the length of the dead blue whale was 42 feet, the weight was not estimated, the whale was large.
They said the cause of death for the blue whale could not be determined, it had deep wounds on its tail.
Abdul Rahim Baloch said the blue whale appears to have been injured by hitting something heavy.
He said blue whales have been seen near Makran shores in the past, 10 species of whales are found in Gwadar sea.
He added that the remains and structures of dead blue whales will be preserved.
