A second person from the Toronto area is facing first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of London nurse Linda Marcus last fall.
Osman Ali Afandi, 23, was arrested and charged in Regina, Saskatchewan, on Wednesday, London police said.
Police believe he was the man in the black tracksuit caught on security camera footage and released to the public in late April. Police also charged that he was the driver of the gray Ford Fusion involved in the murder.
The vehicle was traveling with a black Volkswagen Jetta outside Marquez’s home when it was later found abandoned.

Marquez was shot at 7:50 pm on September 10, 2021, when he arrived at his home on Waterrock Drive in the Fox Hollow area of north London.
In April, Ammar Patel, 18, was charged with first-degree murder. He was facing drug trafficking charges charged by Toronto police.
Patel is scheduled to appear in court in June. Afandi is making his first appearance in a London court on Friday.
Police are continuing to investigate the murder and are asking the public to come forward if they find any new information.
