Puber Kalam Webdesk: A tourist from Jaipur in Rajasthan said he was barred from entering the Taj Mahal with an idol of the god Krishna. The incident drew the attention of local Hindu organizations. Hindu activists said they will protest and agitate against the authorities if action is not taken against those who stopped the tourist.An official of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Agra Circle, said he would inquire about the matter with Central officials Tourist Gautam told reporters at the Taj Mahal that an official appealed to Neerapatta to prevent him from entering with the idol. He said, “Laddu Gopal (Shri Krishna) is like a family member and I always take him with me.

He said, “I went to Mathura and Vrindavan with the idol of Lord Krishna. But here I was asked to enter the Taj Mahal without an idol.” Taj Mahal (California) assistant security guard Prince Vajpayee told PTI, “I have a video of this as well. But I have no information whether the incident happened on Monday or on another day. I will inquire about the incident with the CISF.”

Rashtriya Hindu Parishad president Govinda Parashar said, “Strong action should be taken against those who have insulted the ‘god’. If not, we will protest.
