During the National Deworming Day mop-up round, doses of Albendazole will be given to the missing children on Monday. CMHO Dr. Sampatraj Nagar said the National Deworming Day was observed on Monday, September 4. During this time, children who fall short of the prescribed age will receive nutritional supplements on the mockup day on Monday.
Every effort will be made to ensure that not even a single child is left out of the dose of Albendazole. Deputy CMHO Dr. Sitaram Verma said this dose will be given at Anganwadi centers to children aged one to five years and children aged 6 to 19 years who are out of school. Apart from this, doses of Albendazole will also be given in private and government schools along with technical institutes and madrassas.
