Mumbai: In yet another bigoted and anti-Islamic move, the Hindutva government of the Indian state of Maharashtra martyred Masjid-i Tahira and Madrasah Gulshan-i Ahmad Raza.
According to Kashmir Media Service, police and local authorities demolished a mosque and a madrasa on Mumbai’s Ghatkopar Andheri Road amid tight security under the guise of beautification work.
Masjid-i-Tahira and Gulshan-e-Ahmed Raza madrasas have been established in this area for 30 years, but suddenly the Mumbai administration sent a notice that these two places are coming in the middle of a road widening project, so they have to demolish them. .
On the other hand, Masjid and Madrasa Trustee Mansoor Shaikh said that the Masjid Committee has received legal protection from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) during the Link Road widening project.
