Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma hit out at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and claimed that the Northeast region is missing from the map of India shared by the Congress party on social media. Sarma shared a screenshot of an animated video from the Congress’ official ‘X’ handle, which features images of cartoon characters resembling Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi. There is also a map where the northeast is not visible.
Sarma wrote on Twitter, “Looks like the Congress party has secretly made a deal to sell the entire country in the North East to a neighboring country. The map has a cartoon of Gandhi in the middle, while the screenshot is captioned with an imaginary dialogue between Modi and Gandhi, inspired by the popular dialogue ‘Mere pas maa hai’ from the 1975 Bollywood film ‘Deewar’.
It seems that the Congress party has secretly made an agreement to sell the entire North East country to some neighboring country. Is that why Rahul went abroad? Or has the party given membership to Sharjeel Imam? pic.twitter.com/oO9fLp86p8
