According to news reports, Azam Khan has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Medanta Hospital since last Wednesday due to a lung infection and difficulty in breathing. He is being treated under the supervision of Dr. Dilip Dubey’s team. Later on Thursday late evening, SP president Akhilesh Yadav reached the hospital and inquired about Azam’s well-being.
Dr. Rakesh Kapoor, Medical Director of the hospital, said that Azam Khan is now doing better than before. It is important that before this Azam contracted an infection in Sitapur jail and had to stay in the hospital for a long time. After that he also underwent a lot of treatment in Delhi hospitals. He arrived in Lucknow two days ago. But after his health deteriorated here, he was admitted to Medanta Hospital. Where at the moment his condition is improving.
