In South Bihar, due to the westerly flow and intense heat, severe heat conditions continued for the second consecutive day. Eight districts of south-central Bihar and south-west Bihar were more affected. The mercury is normal in Buxar and North Bihar. The Meteorological Department observed heat wave conditions in Aurangabad on Monday while Gaya, Rohtas, Nawada, Nalanda and Jamui experienced heat wave conditions.
Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave warning for Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Nawada and Gaya on Tuesday. By issuing a yellow alert, people have been appealed not to come out of the house unnecessarily. Buxar was the hottest place in the state on Monday, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 45.2 degrees Celsius. There was an increase of 2.4 degrees in the temperature here.
At the same time, the temperature of Aurangabad decreased by 1.6 degrees to 45.1 degrees. Rohtas recorded a drop of 1.2 degrees Celsius, with a temperature of 44.6 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, mercury is normal in North Bihar. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of rain and thundershowers in West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, Purnia and Katihar in the next 24 hours. Thunderstorm and water condition will prevail till 12 noon on Tuesday.
