The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) says that a telephone conversation took place between Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.

According to the ISP, the Army Chief and Bill Gates discussed issues related to Pakistan’s commitment to fight polio and corona.

ISPR says Bill Gates praised the Pakistan Army for ensuring cooperation and coverage in the national polio campaign.

According to the ISP, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that polio-free Pakistan is a national goal, the credit for which goes to those concerned, while Bill Gates praised the successful campaign against Corona despite limited resources.

ISPR says the army chief attributed the success to a genuine national response.
