Nandita Roy, New Delhi: Fact-finding committee reports police ‘torture’ in BJP’s Navanna campaign. The five-member fact-finding committee submitted a 25-page report to BJP All India president JP Naddi in Delhi on Saturday. Where they filed many complaints against law and order in Bengal and demanded an inquiry by a central agency. According to political circles, the Center cannot trust the Bengali BJP leaders. So they are demanding a CBI inquiry in any case.

The report also includes photographs of BJP workers “killed” by the police. It was also said that Jungle Raj is set in Bengal. The law and order situation in the country is very bad. The Navanna campaign was an expression of the anger of the common people. The police abused the BJP workers to stop the operation. This incident is to be investigated by the Main Investigative Department, the report says. In addition, the dispatch of a Human Rights Commission team to Bengal was also reported.

Political circles say Bengal BJP leaders fled the field during the Navanna campaign. The central leaders are very upset with their behavior. Delhi leaders cannot rely on Shuvenda-Sukant-Dileep. Thus, the ruling party of the state is once again trying to create pressure on the masses by sending a team of CBI, Human Rights Commission.

On September 13, the city of Kolkata witnessed a scandal surrounding the BJP’s Navanna campaign. The situation escalated as the police used water cannons, tear gas and lathi charge to stop the BJP workers. Many were injured in the clashes between the two sides. Minadevi Purohit’s head was ripped open by the Calcutta Municipal Council.

After receiving these complaints from Dilip Ghosh, Sukant Majumdar, Subhendu Adhikari regarding the raid, the Delhi BJP leadership formed a 5-member fact-finding committee. Rajavardhan Rathore, Sunil Zaharra are members of the committee.
