West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday accused the BJP of threatening people. He said, “BJP is scaring people. He said that if they don’t vote for BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Central Investigation Agencies will be sent to their homes. to protect themselves from the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA, advised them to ensure that their names are on the electoral roll.

Mamta Banerjee said BJP is using central agencies for elections. He is threatening people over the phone to send Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials home if they do not vote for the party.

BJP has been accused of politics of religion

The West Bengal Chief Minister also said that no order is needed from the BJP to worship God. He is not afraid to refuse such an offer or instruction. He told me to follow Ramayana, Quran, Bible and Guru Granth Sahib. I will not go to the house of the poor and eat food brought from outside. Banerjee said the Center is raising the CAA issue to politicize ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

Politics intensified after the Union Minister’s announcement

Earlier in the day, Union Minister and BJP leader Shantanu Thakur said that the CAA will be implemented across India in the next seven days. Addressing a public meeting at Kakdwip in South 24 Parganas district, Thakur said that within the next one week, the CAA will be implemented not only in West Bengal but across the country.

BSF is also surrounded

Speaking at an event in Cooch Behar, Mamata Banerjee also accused the BSF of harassing people and issuing separate identity cards to people living in border areas. He warned locals not to accept such identity cards from the BSF or else they would fall into the trap of the NRC. If they ask you, tell them that you have Aadhar and Ration card and you don’t need any other card.
