The Supreme Court has sought a report from the Deputy Prosecutor NAB in the welfare plots case in Al-Habib Society within a month.

According to details, in the hearing regarding construction of 32 plots on welfare lands in Al-Habib Society in the Supreme Court Karachi Registry, the court withdrew the show cause notice issued to the three accused and directed the trial court to give an early verdict against the accused.

During the hearing, Justice Qazi Amin had a conversation with Deputy Prosecutor NAB.

Justice Qazi Amin told Deputy Prosecutor NAB that he did not know the basics of criminal law. Sindh High Court did not confirm the bail of the accused, why NAB did not arrest the accused?

Justice Qazi said that the Sindh High Court had ordered the accused to submit bail bond. The accused did not file in the trial court.

Deputy Prosecutor NAB requested that respite be granted. I will personally look into the matter.

Chief Justice said what time respite ?? You have not fulfilled your obligation. Looks like the ghosts are leasing here. All together

The Chief Justice said in his remarks that there was no one to listen to the victims. The job of the departments is to look into all the issues and if something goes wrong, stop it. The accused are gnashing their teeth. How long will this situation continue?

Justice Qazi Amin in his remarks said that investigative officers in NAB are appointed blindfolded. Prosecutors don’t even know.

The Chief Justice said that the victims should be brought to justice. Action should be taken against those responsible.

Justice Qazi Amin remarked that if the standard of investigation and prosecution of NAB cases remained the same then no case would be successful.

Reprimanding the President PECHS for not being serious in hearing the case of illegal allotment of welfare plots in PECHS in the Supreme Court Registry, the court sought original master and layout plan of PECHS.

Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan said that you are making fun of the court and the proceedings in the court? The order will be issued only after reviewing the master plan and documents.
