Canada bans Chinese video-sharing app TikTok
According to British media, the Canadian government spokesperson has said that there are unacceptable risks to privacy and security with the use of the TikTok application.
A spokesperson for the Canadian government said the decision was made after a review by the Chief Information Officer.
On the other hand, Tik Tok’s spokesperson has expressed disappointment with Canada’s decision.
It should be noted that the White House of America has given 30 days to the federal authorities to implement the ban on Tik Tok.
According to foreign media, government agencies have 30 days to delete TikTok from federal entities and systems.
Earlier, the European Commission also banned China’s video sharing app TikTok.
