Jaisalmer. Sangad police station is investigating the road accident.
An 8-year-old child came under a private bus while crossing the road in Fatehgarh area of Jaisalmer. The child died in the accident. On receiving information about the accident, Sangad police station reached the spot and impounded the bus along with the driver. The family members of the deceased child are residents of Madhya Pradesh and work in a pipe factory in Fatehgarh. The family members have registered the accident at the Sangad police station. Sangad police station is investigating the accident.
The incident occurred late on Wednesday night when a private bus from Jaisalmer was going from Fatehgarh to Ahmedabad. Meanwhile, Kamlesh Bawri, a laborer from Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh, who worked in a pipe manufacturing factory between Fatehgarh and Sangad area, came with his family in an auto rickshaw from Fatehgarh to Sangad area. When the taxi stopped on the road, Kamlesh’s 8-year-old son Krishna ran out to cross the road.
During that time he was hit by a private bus. The bus driver braked quickly but by then the child had come under the bus. The child died on the spot in the accident. The bus driver stopped the bus and people informed the Sangad police station and called them to the spot. The family members sued the bus driver for causing an accident by driving recklessly and at high speed. The police registered the case and got hold of the bus and the driver.
