The Alwar National Lok Adalat was organized by the District Legal Services Authority on Saturday. District Magistrate Harendra Singh inaugurated the National Lok Adalat by lighting the lamp in front of the statue of Saraswati Mata. The District Judge said that the National Lok Adalat on Saturday was organized on a large scale in the Courts and Revenue Courts at all the taluka headquarters including the district headquarters. During the National Lok Adalat, 235809 administrative cases related to various banks, labor departments, BSNL, JVVNL, revenue department, municipal corporations, municipal council, municipality etc. were resolved through compromise.
Awards worth Rs 28908893 were also approved. Apart from this, 2813 cases of criminal nature were decided and a judgment of Rs 5189839 was passed. 29 benches worked on deciding these cases. On this occasion, Judge MACT Court Govind Aggarwal, District Legal Authority Secretary Meena Awasthi, Additional District and Sessions Judge No. 1 Sunil Kumar Goyal, Additional Chief Judge No. 3 Vineet Kumar, Additional Civil Judge and Judge No. 2 Ms. Saloni Mathur, Additional Civil Judge and Judge No. 5 Jaya Chaturvedi and Law Secretary Ravi Sharma etc. were present.
