A RAC jawan who went to the Mahadev Swimming Pool and Restaurant, 6 km from Sirohi district headquarters, died on Friday due to drowning in water.
The RAC jawan, who went to the Mahadev Swimming Pool and Restaurant, 6 km from the Sirohi district headquarters, to take a bath, died on Friday due to drowning in water. 15-16 jawans of D company of RAC went to take bath in the swimming pool. During this, the jawan had fallen into deep water due to slipping of his feet.
Sub Inspector Mooparam of Kotwali police station told that the duty of the D Company personnel of Pratapgarh RAC is in RAC Camp Sirohi. From there about 15-16 jawans went to Mahadev swimming pool to take bath. After bathing all the jawans came out, but Vikram Singh (30) fell into the water due to sudden slipping of his feet. After falling into the water, no one paid attention, but suddenly there was a sound in the water, the other jawans ran to the swimming pool and took him out. After this, he was taken to Sirohi Government Hospital for treatment, the doctors present here declared him dead.
On receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and kept the body in the hospital mortuary. Sub Inspector Mooparam told that Vikram Singh is a resident of Tonk district. His family members were informed. On his arrival, a post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday morning.
