WWE has removed several wrestlers from its NXT roster. The sudden change in the roster has sent shockwaves through WWE fans. Wrestlers who have been dropped from the NXT include Dakota Kai, Dexter Lumis, Malcolm Bivens, Raelyn Divine, Draco Anthony, Paige Prinzivalli, Sanjana George, Harland, Persia Pirotta and Mila Malani.

According to reports, NXT is cutting budgets to remove many wrestlers from the development list.

Wrestling Portal’s Sean Ross Sap, Fight Full, Reported to clear NXT. “NXT wrestlers Malcolm Beyonc ،, Dakota Kai, Rylan Devine, Mullah Malani, Draco Anthony, Sanjana George, Faris Perota, Harland, Dexter Looms and Pige Pernzioli have been released from their WWE contracts until April 29,” Sean said. All 10 actors are 30-day non-competitive clauses (as opposed to the 90-day non-competitive clauses given to WWE’s main roster wrestlers).

Sean provided some insider details about the release via FightFill Select. According to previous large-scale releases, WWE’s head of talent relations, John Lorraine, attributed the holiday to budget cuts.

Malcolm Beyonc ،, who was also dropped from the roster, is an experienced wrestler. Prior to signing with WWE, Bivens performed in Ring of Honor (ROH), EVOLVE and Major League Wrestling (MLW).

FightFill Select also reported that former NXT women’s tag team champion, Dakota Kai, watched the release as she had previously indicated that she would not re-sign with WWE.

The most disturbing eviction is from Harland. Harland was to become the next Brock Lesnar before making his WWE debut. There are rumors that NXT coaches and officials felt that Harland was not making significant progress in the ring.
