Dark clouds began to hover over PSL 7
Karachi: PCB officials say that if Corona spreads more, PSL 7 will be postponed.
According to media reports, Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Operating Officer Salman Taseer said on the occasion of the signing ceremony of the agreement with the official live streaming partner of the league that Corona is making an impact all over the world.
“We have done as much as we could, but if Corona continues to spread, the lat will be postponed and the event will be held again after a one-week break,” he said.
He said that every effort is being made to continue PSL, there is backup of staff including players and production crew.
He further said that our Pakistani players are stars, the players will be taken to Lahore by chartered flight.
It is to be noted that in PSL 7, the ground staff including the players and their families are also affected by Corona while the head of PSL and his wife are also in quarantine for 10 days after being affected by Corona.

Aun Zaidi, a senior PSL officer, has also gone to quarantine after being infected with Corona, while Sarfraz Ahmed’s mother and wife have also been infected with Corona virus.
In addition, five foreign players of Quetta Gladiators are also in isolation after being affected by Corona while PSL management has started preparations to make a bubble for the players in the hotel itself.
On the other hand, the management of Pakistan Super League has announced after the increasing rate of Corona cases that now the franchise team can start matches with 12 out of 20 players.
For the first time, the ground staff will not be allowed to go home. The ground staff will also have to stay in the bubble set up at the High Performance Center in Karachi.
It may be recalled that PSL 7 matches will be played in Karachi and Lahore while the start of the event will be between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans from January 27 at Karachi National Stadium.
