Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released from jail after 50 days.

According to Indian media, Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal was released from Tihar Jail in Delhi last evening after a court ordered his release on bail.

Arvind Kejriwal’s wife and party workers welcomed him and shouted slogans after his release from jail.

In his first statement after his release from prison, he thanked the judges of the Supreme Court of India and said, referring to the May 25 elections in Delhi, that we must save the country from dictatorship.

According to Indian media, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been released on bail till June 1 due to election campaign.

The Financial Crimes Agency arrested the Delhi Chief Minister on March 21 in a liquor case.
