On Monday, NSUI students gathered in large numbers in the college and protested against the new education policy. During this, he demanded to continue the provision of revaluation of supplementary exam and ATKT students and show the supplementary test answer.
Following this, in support of their demands, they addressed a memorandum to the Vice-Chancellor’s Secretary for Higher Education and submitted it to the Vice-Chancellor asking for resolution of their demands.
NSUI district vice-president Ashraf Mansoori said the new education policy was introduced by the government in a dictatorial manner. Now the kids have to worry about it. Children will have to take a round of DAVV, as the child of a poor farmer laborer is studying here at Barwani Shaheed Bhima Nayak Government College. He cannot run to Indore again and again after paying the ticket. Can’t even afford that much.
District Vice President of NSUI said the local faculty of PG College should be appointed and children should be given admission in the new education policy by filling the same forms and paying the same fees. He said the college administration assured us that we are trying to solve your problems as soon as possible by making alternative arrangements.
District Vice President of NSUI said that if our demands are not met, we NSUI students will carry out a violent protest including hunger strike and protest. Students said that due to the new education policy, thousands of students studying in the college in Barwani are facing difficulties.
Among these students, students from neighboring districts including Barwani are also facing difficulties. The students raised the demand that the further education of the students should continue by amending the regulations in the new education policy.
In addition, permission should be given to give additional exams and regulations regarding the re-evaluation of supplementary exams and ATKT students and the display of supplementary exam results should continue.
