Islamabad: Army Chief General Asim Munir said those responsible for bringing shame to the nation on the dark day of May 9 will be brought to justice.
According to ISPR, Army Chief General Asim Munir visited Sialkot Garrison and placed flowers at the martyrs’ memorial.
On this occasion, the Army Chief said that no one will be allowed to desecrate the memorials of the martyrs and that the martyrs are a source of pride for the armed forces, law enforcement agencies, government officials and the people of Pakistan.
He further said that the recent tragic incidents of planning will not be allowed again. Martyrs will always have a great place in the hearts of the Pakistani people, martyrs are a source of pride for the ranks and branches of the Pakistan Army.
The army chief said those responsible for bringing shame to the nation on the dark day of May 9 will be brought to justice. Watch with great respect and dignity.
