The 11th Steering Committee of the Red Plus Program met in Islamabad. Swiss-made drones were also provided to the federation and all provinces for forest monitoring. After this technology, it will be possible to monitor newly planted plants.

The meeting also inaugurated the Red Plus Book under which the Red Plus program will be implemented in Pakistan. Under the program, the public will receive dollars in exchange for carbon from trees.

The process of giving dollars under carbon credit under the Red Plus program is already underway in many countries. The decision to determine its regulation in Pakistan will be taken at an environmental conference in Glasgow in two months.
