Dua Zahra does not reside in Punjab University, spokesperson said Pi News

Reacting to the statement of Sindh Minister Shehla Raza in Dua Zahra case, the spokesperson of Punjab University said that Dua Zahra is not residing in Punjab University at present.

A spokesperson of Punjab University said that Dua Zahra’s husband Zaheer’s mother and brother are employed in Punjab University, Zaheer’s mother is a lady assistant in the sports department while her brother is a clerk in the controller’s office.

A spokesman for the Punjab University said that the information sought by the police had been provided to them through the CSO (Chief Security Officer) while Zaheer’s mother and brother had been absent from the university for the past several days.

It is believed that Dua Zahra Kazmi disappeared from under her house on April 16, after which her video statement came out in which Dua said that my family members used to beat me, they wanted to force me to marry someone else. But I did not agree so I have married Zaheer Ahmed of my own free will.

On the other hand, the mother of Dua Zahra, while reacting to her daughter’s video, said that her daughter looks scared in the video, she may have been blackmailed by making videos of her daughter.

It is to be noted that Dua Zahra was married to Zaheer on April 17 while Dua and her husband have been taken into custody by the police from Pakpattan. Both were present at Zaheer’s uncle’s house in Pakpattan.
