India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has demanded that English be declared as the third official language of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar delivered the opening address at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Goa, India.
He said that SCO has invited observers, partners for socio-cultural events.
The Indian foreign minister said the SCO attaches great importance to multilateral cooperation and the promotion of peace and stability.
He further said that the issues of reform and modernization are being discussed in the SCO.
India’s Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar also says he wants support for declaring English as the third official language of the SCO.
It should be noted that the meeting with the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is taking place in Goa, India.
Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also attends the meeting of the foreign ministers of the member countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
