A fire broke out in a clothing factory in Baltora at around 8pm on Sunday. This incident of arson took place near Bherji ki Wadi on Samdadi Road in the city. The fire was so strong that the clothes drying on the wooden shelf were completely burnt to ashes.
When the people nearby saw the flames, they immediately informed the factory owner. The owner and people nearby reached the spot and tried to douse the fire with water, but the fire started spreading rapidly. During this time, after information, the municipal board’s fire brigade and CETP reached the spot and started trying to extinguish the fire. The fire was under control after about an hour of effort. According to preliminary information, the fire was caused by a short circuit. After the incident Balotra police also reached the spot and inspected the spot.
