Three separate cases of intentional shooting were reported in close proximity to each other on Sunday, February 26th.
The first incident occurred at about 4.40pm on Barscope Terrace, where two sheds were set on fire.
The second incident occurred around 4.50pm on Todholm Terrace, when a caravan and a boat were set on fire.
At about 9:45 pm on Sunday evening, the boxes on Todholm Terrace were set on fire.
Although no injuries were reported as a result of the fires, the police continue to investigate and are now working to establish any possible links between the crimes.
Detective Jade Clark said: “Fortunately, no one was injured in these incidents.
Although these locations are all very close, we are still investigating to see if there are any links between these three incidents.
“At this point in our investigation, I would urge anyone who was in these areas around the time of the fires and saw anything suspicious, or has any information that might help us, to come forward.
“I would also ask anyone in these areas around those times with a dash cam or personal footage to contact us.”
The information must be passed on to officers through 101 Reference Number 2409 dated February 26.
