Former MP Tarachand Patel

Tarachand Patel, MP from Khargone and MLA from Barwah assembly seat, passed away today. There is a mood of mourning in the area due to the demise of the Congress leader, senior members of the society and prominent citizens paid tributes to him.

Patel was elected Member of Parliament from Khargone, Madhya Pradesh as a member of the Indian National Congress (1999–2004). He was born on October 20, 1941. He was the pioneer of Nimar politics, a symbol of gentlemanliness and propriety. He had served as MP, MLA and State Vice President of Indian National Congress.

Sanawad Congress Block President Ashish Chaudhary said his last journey will be from Bapa Mansion Khargone Road Sanawad to Gomukh Ghat at 2 pm. His last rites will be performed in Toksar on the banks of the Narmada.
