Murar police station got information and he was arrested from Pinto Park area. There are 25 criminal cases registered against him, mostly of robbery, assault and battery. He was wanted at Murar, Maharajpura and Old Cantonment police stations. Now the police are questioning him.
Suburban police station, Madan Mohan Malviya, had received information from an informer that a member of the gang who had committed three chain robberies in one night three months ago in Murar area had been seen in Pinto Park area. Police Station Head Malviya immediately informed CSP Murar Rajiv Jangle about the information and left for action with his team Sub Inspector Narendra Singh Sisodia, Constable Yogendra Singh Sikarwar, Yogendra Singh Gurjar, Neeraj Singh Yadav, Pankaj Singh Tomar. According to the information provided by the informant, the police team saw a suspicious person with dark skin standing near the Pinto Park intersection. Who tried to run away after seeing the police team, but the fleeing suspect was surrounded and caught by the police team. The suspect, who was caught under intense interrogation by the police, along with his four other associates, confessed to committing five robberies in different police station areas of Gwalior city a few months ago. The arrested criminal has been identified as Satish alias Chhunna Khatik, a resident of Banmore, Morena, while his three associates Krishna Khatik, Chhotu Khatik, Girraj Khatik, residents of Morena, were arrested three months ago. The police have questioned him in search of his other accomplice.
Professional criminal, 25 cases registered
It has been told that the arrested criminal Chhunna Khatik is very vicious and has more than 25 criminal cases registered against him including robbery, assault and battery. Murar, Maharajpura and Purani Cantonment police have been searching for him for a long time in the chain robbery case.

In the Murar area of the city, on the night of May 29, bikers had looted the Mangal Sutra and chain from the neck of Vimla Bai and Varsha Rajak. Both of these incidents were committed at a distance of 50 meters from the police station. In this case action was taken by registering a robbery case and after few days three members of the robbery gang were arrested and two were absconding. Apart from three robberies in Murar, they also revealed the robbery in Maharajpura and Purani Cantonment.
