Jio True 5G Rollout Date?

Reliance has also announced a definite timeline for the ‘Jio 5G’ rollout in 2022 at the 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM), which most people were excited about.

According to the company, Jio “True 5G” will be rolled out to consumers this Diwali. In the initial phase it can be offered in around 13 cities including Delhi, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Jamnagar and Kolkata.

Let me tell you that the auction of 5G spectrum in the country was completed last October. Jio bagged the most 5G spectrum during the auction, with a total of 26,772 MHz of spectrum in the 700MHz, 800MHz, 1800MHz, 3300MHz and 26GHz bands. For this, the company spent Rs 88,078 crore.

Meanwhile, it is expected that Jio will make Jio True 5G available to all users in India by December 2023. We inform you that io has partnered with Qualcomm to develop 5G solutions for India.

The company said Jio will set up the world’s largest 5G network with an investment of around ₹ 2 lakh crore, in line with Reliance’s slogan – ‘We Care’.

Jio ultra affordable smartphones

At AGM 2022, Ambani also said that the company is also working with Google to develop ultra-affordable smartphones, which will be offered primarily to Indian consumers.

At the AGM, Reliance Retail Director Isha Ambani said RIL’s retail arm will enter the fast-growing consumer goods (FMCG) segment and launch its own FMCG business this year.

Also, in a major announcement regarding JioMart, Isha Ambani said that to expand JioMart, she is partnering with WhatsApp, a popular platform owned by Meta.

Under the JioMart-Whatsapp partnership, users will also be able to use WhatsApp Pay, cash on delivery and other payment methods. Meta founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also expressed enthusiasm in this regard.
