The Army Chief laid wreaths at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Wana and visited the headquarters of the formation, General Asim Munir was briefed about the operation, training and security of the formation and the development work being done in the newly merged districts.

Appreciating the efforts to create and provide an enabling environment for the completion of socio-economic development projects, the Army Chief reiterated the Army’s commitment to fight terrorism.

The Army Chief highlighted the importance of coordination between various government institutions and especially the importance of Pakistani people in the fight against terrorism.
