Mumbai: The Maha Vikas Aghadi government in the state has become unstable in the backdrop of revolt by over 40 MLAs of the ruling Shiv Sena. The BJP alleges that the ministers of various departments are taking decisions at the last minute due to unrest in the ruling party due to the possibility of the government falling. BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Praveen Darekar had written a letter to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari in this regard. The governor has finally taken cognizance of Darekar’s complaint.

Darekar had said, ‘I have sent a letter to Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari ji regarding the unstable political situation in the state and decisions being taken indiscriminately for the last two days, issuance of GR and immediate intervention. After that the agitation started from Raj Bhavan and the governor has asked the state government about it.

Big step of Thackeray government, called for file of decisions taken by rebel ministers

The governor has asked the government to clarify on the allegation of ministers taking hasty decisions. Governor Koshyari is undergoing treatment at a hospital for a corona infection for the past few days. But recently he overcame Corona and started his regular work. It will be important to see how the state government responds to the Governor’s request for clarification on the decisions taken by the ministers.

What was Praveen Darekar’s allegation?

The Mahavikas Aghadi government has released 106 gr in two days. Out of Rs 1,770 crore, Rs 319 crore has been distributed to the MLAs. Praveen Darekar had objected to these decisions of Mavia. Darekar had also sought the Governor’s immediate intervention in the misuse of this fund which is in the larger interest of Maharashtra and in the right of the people.
