The first day’s survey at Gyanvapi Masjid lasted for 4 hours. During this, the lawyers of the Hindu and Muslim sides were also accompanying the survey team. Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Jain has said in a conversation after the survey that till 60 percent of the survey and videography work has been done and this work will be completed in another day. In this case, the survey work will continue on Sunday as well.
Vishnu Jain said that the western wall of the Gyanvapi Masjid is shouting that it is the remains of a Hindu temple.
There was heavy deployment of police during the survey. The administration has sealed the entire area.
Let us inform that the lower court of Varanasi has said in its decision that the survey will be done inside the Gyanvapi mosque and before May 17, the survey team will have to give its report to the court.

In this case, the petitioner Sohanlal Arya said that the claim made by him is hundred percent true and more evidence has been found than imagined. He said that the Hindu side will win in this case.
‘No idol found’
Tauheed, the lawyer for the Muslim side in this case, said that no idol has been found in the basement and the claims made in this regard are false. He told Republic Bharat that whatever happens in the videography will be placed before the court.
He said that the new commissioner appointed by the court, Vishal Singh, acted with complete impartiality.
Varanasi DM Kaushal Raj Sharma said that the survey work was done in a very peaceful atmosphere and all the parties respected the decision of the lower court. He said that during this all the parties and their lawyers were also present.
