Mumbai: As Indian captain Rohit Sharma turns 35 today, the cricket community has expressed its heartfelt wishes for ‘Hitman’. Virat Kohli shared an Instagram story with the caption: “Happy Birthday Rohit Sharma. God bless you. ”

“Happy Birthday to the lone batsman who gave me nightmares as a captain. Thankfully I no longer captain @ ImRo45,” tweeted former India opener Gautam Gambhir.

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh also wished Rohit Sharma well, “Many happy returns of the day @ ImRo45 God bless you with lots of happiness and success in the coming year.”

Rohit is considered one of the greatest players of his generation and has the highest individual score in ODIs. Rohit also has three double centuries in the 50-over format. In addition, the most successful captain in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), has won the title five times with the Mumbai Indians.
