The Dabwali police of Sirsa, Haryana have busted a gang of thieves who stole sheep and goats in a Honda City car and fled. The police have unearthed 19 cases of theft by arresting three people. The police are now trying to recover the stolen sheep and goats by taking them on remand. Police have recovered Honda City car.
Dabwali Sadar police station in-charge Sub Inspector Devi Lal said that the police have arrested Jaswinder Singh, Amandeep alias Sandeep and Bhola Singh resident of village Desu Malkana police station Kalanwali district Sirsa. In the preliminary interrogation, he has confessed to stealing livestock, sheep and goats in about 19 incidents from the villages of Sadar Dabwali, town Dabwali, Odha and Rodi police station areas. In the last few days, after the theft of sheep and other livestock from some villages of Dabwali police station area, investigation was started by forming a police team.
During the investigation, the police team gathered important leads and arrested three accused in the incident. All three have been produced in the court and taken on police remand for two days. During the remand period, his other accomplices would be questioned and the stolen livestock, property and other vehicles used in the crime would also be recovered.
Police station in-charge sub-inspector Devi Lal said that the arrested accused are being interrogated and the possibility of disclosure about other incidents of livestock during the interrogation cannot be ruled out. The arrested accused often used Honda City car while stealing sheep, which has been recovered.
