Former President Asif Zardari and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-e-Pakistan Democratic Movement chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman have met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

According to the statement, the political situation in the country was discussed at the meeting held in the Prime Minister’s House.

Sources said the situation after the announcement of election by the President was also discussed in the meeting.

It should be noted that President Arif Alvi approved the date of April 30 for the Punjab elections.
