Thane, September 10 (Language) In Maharashtra’s Thane district, a laborer allegedly killed his 18-month-old daughter by throwing her on the floor after a fight with his wife. The police provided the information on Sunday.
The Thane police have arrested Altaf Mohammad Samiullah Ansari (26) under sections 302 (murder), 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code, an official said.
He said that the incident took place in Abhay Nagar area of ​​Daighargaon at around 6 pm on Friday when the accused, in a fit of rage, beat his wife and then dragged his wife and daughter out of the house.
Police said he allegedly threw the girl to the floor with such force that she died at the scene.
He told that Ansari was angry over a fight with his wife 15 days ago.
According to the officer, the accused drank alcohol and often argued with his wife. A case has been registered due to the woman’s complaint.
