Motihari :- A program related to Corporate Social Responsibility was organized by Indian Oil Corporation Limited Motihari on Friday in the premises of Sadar Hospital, Motihari. In this program, 10 ICU medical beds, 04 automatic by-pap machines and 01 X-ray machine were provided free of cost to Sadar Hospital by Indian Oil Corporation. In the program, the doctors of the district hospital and the officials of Indian Oil Corporation Limited discussed the importance of public awareness and medical equipment of hospitals to deal with the health related challenges. District Magistrate Shishit Kapil Ashok, Civil Surgeon Dr. Anjani Kumar, DK Singh Deputy General Manager, Ramesh Choudhary station in-charge Motihari Pump Station Indian Oil Corporation Limited and other officials of District Hospital and Indian Oil Corporation Limited participated in this program. The Civil Surgeon and District Magistrate thanked the officials for the medical supplies. The Civil Surgeon apprised about the measures related to handling and prevention of health related challenges.

Civil Surgeon Dr Anjani Kumar informed that all the medical equipment provided by Indian Oil Corporation will be used in the service of the patients. This will be considered as a big contribution in the service of the patients treated in the district. He said that all these necessary equipment will make the treatment of patients very easy. He said that whether it is a matter of treatment in the Kovid period or in other diseases, these devices play a very important role in all. Due to these, the patient can be cured quickly in less time. Due to the increase in the number of patients during the Corona period and not having enough ICU beds, the patients were facing a lot of trouble. Doctors of Sadar Hospital were referring patients when beds were not empty in ICU. After which DM Shishat Kapil Ashok contacted the officials and requested them to provide ICU beds and equipment. After which this equipment has been donated to the District Sadar Hospital. The installation work of the equipment will be completed by the end of this week. After which the Sadar Hospital administration will be handed over. DS Dr RK Verma and district health committee officials and doctors were present on the occasion.
