In the 22nd match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 8, Quetta Gladiators defeated Karachi Kings by four wickets after an interesting match.
In the match played at Pindi Stadium, Karachi Kings set Quetta Gladiators a target of 165 runs to win, which Quetta achieved in the last over of the innings.
On behalf of Quetta Gladiators, Martin Guptill played a match-winning innings of 86 runs. For Karachi, Tabriz Shamsi took two wickets while Amir Yameen, Fuller and Musa took one wicket each.
Earlier, Gladiators won the toss and decided to bat first against Karachi Kings.
For Karachi, Rosington scored 65, Imad Wasim scored 30 while Amir Yameen scored 23 runs. Naseem and Emil from Quetta took two wickets each.
Speaking after the toss, Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed said that will try to play good cricket, 4 changes have been made in the team, we still have a chance to stay in PSL.
Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim said that we are not out of the tournament yet, the wicket is good for batting.
