Extradition against César Hinostroza approved for the White Collar case

The Transitory Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court extended the extradition of former Supreme Judge César Hinostroza Pariachi. With this fact, he will be able to be tried for the alleged crime against the public administration-specific passive bribery in the framework of the Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto case.

In the file, it is read that Hinostroza, when he held the position of superior judge and president of the Superior Court of Justice of Callao in 2015, would have received an economic benefit from businessman Salvador José Ricci Cortez, shareholder of Hotel La Paz SA It is worth mentioning that the file is held by the prosecutor Reggis Oliver Chávez.

“To declare the request for an extension of active extradition made by the supreme judge in charge of the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Republic of Peru, to the judicial authorities of the Kingdom of Spain, regarding the Peruvian citizen César José Hinostroza Pariachi required by the Peruvian justice (accumulated to Extradition No. 110-2020) ”, they detail in the resolution.

As recalled, Hinostroza Pariachi is a fugitive in Spain, where the decision of the justice of that country is awaited, so that he can be delivered to Peru in order to be tried for allegedly being linked to the criminal organization Los Cuellos Blancos del Puerto.
