Vaccination of children under 17 years of age
As it is recalled, a few days ago, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) approved the vaccination protocol against the coronavirus for adolescents between 12 and 17 years old at the national level, it is estimated that this age group would begin to be vaccinated from November.
“The original plan includes children and adolescents from 12 to 17 years old. It is a question that vaccines arrive as planned because it is important to compare the supply of vaccines that is arriving. We agreed that from 12 to 17 years only the Pfizer vaccine is authorized, therefore, according to our arrival schedule, we should be vaccinating them from November and December, which corresponds to that age group ”, indicated the Deputy Minister of Public Health , Gustavo Rosell.
