A married couple who celebrate their 77th wedding anniversary, They turned the internet upside down after they decided recreate the day that forever changed their lives and, almost eight decades later, they decided to relive that special day as it is.

Royce y Frankie King They married in 1944, however, given the economic conditions of the couple at that time and the military commitments of the groom, the wedding was simple.

After living decades together and after a pandemic that came to rethink everyone’s lives, the couple decided a couple of weeks ago to recreate their wedding.

Your wedding celebration

This time Frankie wore a pearl colored dress, with long sleeves and long neck. For its part, Royce wore a dress uniform with medals of valor.

On this occasion several people attended several people to witness the love of the couple through time. Their children and grandchildren could not miss to witness what is impossible for many.

In 1944, Frankie did not have a wedding dress. But for his 77th anniversary this month, the St. Croix Hospice team found him one and planned a special day to celebrate it.

One of the things the couple loved the most was hiring a person to play the classic 1940s tunes and of course, thanks to technological advances and the immediacy of social networks, today we too can be enjoying this type of event.
