On the issue of the helicopter landing of Imran Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and NOC for the November 26 protest and rally, the administration also rejected the request of party vice-chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Friday.

According to TV channel 24News HD, Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz Memon has said that landing cannot be allowed unless the certificate is received from PTI Chairman.

Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Irfan said they have rejected the request as it was submitted by Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Ali Nawaz Awan’s endorsement.

He confirmed that after the submission of the certificate by PTI Chairman Imran Khan, the decision to allow the helicopter to land at the parade ground in Islamabad will be taken.

The authority also said that PTI has not yet been able to present the agreement signed by Imran Khan to the Islamabad administration, despite his assurance to the administration.

Memon said the administration has given conditional permission to hold a meeting after getting assurances from the political leaders but there is lack of implementation on all 36 conditions mentioned in the agreement.

He said the administration has started considering canceling the NOC as PTI has not followed the terms of the agreement properly.
