New Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) It was a sunny Saturday in the national capital as the maximum temperature settled at 36.8 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season’s average. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) provided this information.
According to the IMD, similar weather conditions are expected on Sunday as well, during which the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 37 and 27 degrees Celsius respectively.
The IMD said the minimum temperature on Saturday was 27.3 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season’s average.
According to the IMD, the humidity in Delhi varied between 69 percent and 44 percent.
According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the overall air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was recorded at 136 at 7 pm, which falls in the ‘moderate’ category.
