A case of suicide attack at Karachi University yesterday has been registered in the government’s complaint after 26 hours while the husband of the woman who committed suicide has also been taken into custody.

Two commanders and spokespersons of the banned outfit have been named in the FIR, while anti-terrorism provisions have been added to the case. A case of suicide attack has been registered in CTD Civil Lines by the government.

On the other hand, progress has been made in the investigation into the suicide attack on Chinese teachers at Karachi University. The husband of the suicide bomber has been taken into custody.

According to investigators, the husband of the suicide bomber was identified as Haibatan Bashir. The terrorist woman had been living in Karachi with her family for six months. The woman stayed at Gulistan-e-Jauhar for several weeks and last week at a private hotel.

According to sources, the rickshaw driver who had brought the woman was also taken into custody.
