Police say a Coburg man wanted with drugs was arrested Tuesday night.
At 11:35 pm, a patrol officer spotted a cyclist on D’Arcy Street, according to the Cobourg Police Service. He was wanted by the service on a pending arrest warrant.
The officer was arrested and when arrested, police said they found small amounts of crack cocaine, fentanyl and marijuana and a prohibited knife.
A 35-year-old Cobourg man was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of failing to comply with a release order and one count of possession of illegal marijuana and a prohibited weapon.
The man was remanded in custody pending bail and was remanded in custody until Friday, June 24, police said Thursday.
