Matters settled, civil-military relations like never before today: Fawad Chaudhry

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that civil-military relations have never been as good as they are today.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said that Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the army and the government are on the same page, the Prime Minister has very good relations with the Army Chief, the Army Chief has always supported the civilian government.

He said that the appointment of DG ISI would be made soon. All matters related to this have been settled.

Regarding the situation in Afghanistan, he said that Pakistan’s position was that Afghanistan should not be left alone at this time, visa facilitation for Afghanistan has been made and trade is being increased. I want the world not to leave Afghanistan alone.

He said that a new economic policy has been framed to deal with inflation. Health cards will be provided to every citizen of Punjab and they will be given health insurance up to Rs. 7.5 lakh.

He said that data related to Ehsas Card has been collected through which subsidy will be given on items at utility stores.

Fawad Chaudhry said that the poor and weaker sections will be given Ehsas cards, the Punjab government is also issuing labor cards.
