Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) ticket holder Ibad Farooq has announced the return of party tickets, holding Yasmin Rashid and Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid responsible for setting fire to Jinnah House.

Ibad Farooq, ticket holder of PTI from constituency PP 148 released a video message. Ibad Farooq alleged that after the arrest of Imran Khan, our leadership called us and instructed us to set Jinnah House on fire.

He said Tehreek-e-Insaf leadership called us to protest in Liberty. There, Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid, along with other leaders, told that you should go to the house of the Corps Commander with everyone and set fire there.

He further said that what happened was not good. We should not start any such movement against any institution because these are our own institutions. Be it army or any institution we should respect everyone.

Ibad Farooq said that if an institution gets a ticket by misusing it or setting it on fire, then I don’t want such a ticket. I am returning the ticket. If possible, I will contest the election from this constituency as an independent candidate.

It should be noted that continuous audio leaks from PTI leaders regarding the strategy of protest against Imran Khan’s arrest are coming to light. On May 10, the alleged audio of PTI leader Mian Ibad Farooq also surfaced, in which he says that Yasmin Rashid’s order was to set fire to the corps chief’s office.

Yesterday, National Assembly member Mehmood Maulvi announced that he is leaving the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). During a press conference in Karachi, Mehmood Maulvi announced his resignation from PTI and National Assembly membership.

Mehmood Maulvi said I have never gone against the army and will never go. PTI has done it. Which India has never been able to do.
