Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis resign from coaching posts

Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis will resign from the coaching posts.

According to details, Misbah-ul-Haq and Waqar Younis were appointed head coach and bowling coach of the national cricket team in September 2019 respectively.

Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq said that he reviewed his 24 months during his quarantine in Jamaica.

Misbah-ul-Haq said that he wanted to spend time with his family.

Waqar Younis said that when Misbah-ul-Haq announced his decision, I also decided to resign, while I am very satisfied to work with Pakistan’s young bowlers.

PCB chief executive Wasim Khan said that the PCB respects Misbah-ul-Haq’s decision. In the last 24 months, Misbah-ul-Haq has devoted all his energies to Pakistan cricket while Waqar Younis has made a bold decision.
